Shit, this is the final nail in the coffin for either democracy or Erdoğan’s presidency.

Turkey is currently on the streets fighting against Erdogans regime. This will decide the future of Turkey, but also Europe.. I really hope EU puts pressure on Erdogan. Turkey does not want to fall under dictatorship, and I don’t think Europe wants a second Putin! Do not support him, only because you need the Turkish army. The opposition is really pro Europe, if you need Turkey as your ally. Erdogan does not care about Ukraine or whatever, do not believe him! He wants to go full Putin.

    6. Be prepared for events to escalate. If an arrest warrant is issued (it almost certainly will be), there will be events tens or hundreds of times bigger than what happened in the last 4 days.

Boycott this country, don‘t use turkish airlines, don‘t buy turkish products, don‘t travel to this country.

I hope this is a wakeup call for turkish people. If you don’t stand up for your values people like Erdogan just trample on them and do whatever they wish. You can’t count on other countries or the world anymore unfortunately.

Only the Turkish people can make change if they desire it.

I pray for all who stand up for their values. I hope it will be peaceful but I doubt Erdogan will let slide peacefully.

It’s up to the military to reinstate secularism. Remember that Atatürk knew this would happen and gave this task to the soldiers of the country.

Erdogan pulls a Putin move. Like he arrested and then killed Alexei Navalny.

He is currently far far behind in the polls. So he will polarize the people, eliminate the next president and then put some provocators within the peaceful protestors. So he can label them as “terrorists” and gather more support from people.

He did this in Gezi protests. He is doing it again. He is enemy to the state. Enemy to the Turkish people. Weakening every Turkish claim against PKK/PYD/YPG/FETO terrorist organizations by calling everyone as terrorists. By supporting HAMAS terrorist organization. He is a huge arab lover. He is constantly claiming that GDP of Turkiye grow but in reality, people became more poor than 25 years before. He just filled his own pockets and pockets of his oligarchs.

Also not to forget, he is providing insider information to his supporters before every major event so they can become even more rich with their positions in stocks market and currency exchanges. He is not hiding this since 2018. He created 3 economic crisis since 2018 by himself to make his oligarchs richer.

I hope the Turks will be successful in the fight for their freedom against power-hungry authoritarianism. Also right now there are protests in South Korea against their president who got impeached. Let’s hope Turkiye will also be successful.

Is this happening right next to the EU, self proclaimed new leader of the free world? Has it said anything about it?

Pretty amazing even a country weak as Turkey is able to grip the union by the balls…
