My only question in that data is some countries likely came from a much higher baseline than others… so in some cases flatter decreases may just mean they weren’t using that many in the first place…
It’s almost like the US is bought and paid for by big pharma

Which is why in general Europeans are hesitant to import from markets that do not share this desire for less antibiotics.

Antibiotics shouldn’t be used unless absolutely necessary.
We haven’t had a new antibiotic produced in decades. If bacteria develop resistance for all the ones we have, we’ll be completely fucked.
