      Context:

Mansur Yavaş is a Turkish politician and the current mayor of Ankara, Turkey’s capital. He has been in office since 2019 as a member of the Republican People’s Party (CHP).

Many consider him a strong potential challenger to President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, similar to Istanbul Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu.

A series of cultural and artistic events held between 2021 and 2024 had been under investigation by inspectors for some time. The review of service procurements covering 130 concerts has been completed. A decision has been made to grant permission for an investigation into 33 concerts on allegations of public financial loss.

Following Istanbul, is Ankara also preparing for an investigation? After Ekrem İmamoğlu, one of Erdoğan’s strongest rivals, is a similar move being prepared against Mansur Yavaş?

Draghi had balls to call him a dictator after denying a seat to VdL and now no EU leaders have attributed it seems

“Oh shit you can just arrest your opposition? why hasn’t everyone done this! Why have problems when you can eliminate them through illegitimate state violence. what could go wrong!”

I’m so sad. I didn’t think they would do this much. The news really bad.

Erdogan is so deep now, that he has to ban all opposition and do a Belarus/Russia styled dictatorship.

He’s cooked next election, and his party. Especially after this. However, Its up to the Turks to stop this from happening. Good luck.

    7. the only way the protests will achieve anything unfortunately is through blood. the protesters need to be willing to go with fire and blood to depose Erdogan.

Who will run an investigation on Erdogan? I am sure they’ll find way more of what he attempts to charge these mayors for.

He’s showing that he’s scared. He’s growing increasingly paranoid that his power is being threatened.

If we let this mf get away with it, it’s on us. This is the best opportunity to get rid of him, once and for all, a la qaddafi style.

A WARNING FROM A PROTESTER TO THOSE OUTSIDE OF TÜRKİYE

Please keep these events alive in your memory, let those around you see them. Please remember these, there is no one behind us as educated and sensible people in our own country. Do not come to Türkiye for a while as a tourist and don’t spend money. PROTEST however you can. There will be no consequences for these actions unless the elitist group next to Erdoğan is economically harmed. It’s an important thing to aware of.

Hatred is being instilled in the uneducated, ignorant and conservative people and they are trying to make us enemies with our neighbors and relatives, and they have done so. People all over the world, PROTEST HOWEWER YOU CAN.

As the primary slogan of this protest says: “There is no salvation alone, either all together or none of us!”

Erdo will share the same end of dictators at the end. This road takes you only one end.. running or dying. Let’s see what will happen to him.
