I dislike this american administration. But, sadly, this guy is in a certain way correct. Suez channel mostly benefits EU, yet americans are the one who had to protect it. Most NATO countries didn’t spend committed 2% on the military. European countries also have obligations. Had we spent 2% on military and didn’t enable Putin through years of buying gas from him, he wouldn’t be in the situation in which we are now.

Until the US started behaving as an enemy we didn’t take it seriously. Now everybody says that we need to improve our defense: who said that first? Now it turns out that it is very much a possibility, so why didn’t we do it before?
Free loader is a stupid term but there’s a grain of truth there. We need to be mature enough to admit what we did wrong and learn from mistakes. Sending incendiary pictures with the attempt of making the US the enemy is basically falling into the enemy’s hands (which is still Russia btw in case you’ve forgotten who’s manipulating the western world here)

He has a point: european navies have been in the Red Sea for over a year, but attacks keep happening and even succeeding sometimes.
No european power has even tried getting airstrikes into Yemen going. Great Britain is the inly country in Europe that has actual, modern aircraft carriers to even try this with.

This leak is going to be the upending factor for ALL European negotiations even if some of them are removed, because they won’t remove all of these people. I do not think there is anything to use to hold Europe to any diplomatic agreements now. C’mon do that ‘ceasefire’ so Europe can bring in the peacekeepers.
