Ah the media’s usual “datacentres are stealing your electrons, you should panic” and no focus or investigation of solutions to help what has brought a lot of money into our country.
A lot of the economy is moving away from oil to electricity, even aside from datacentres, so action is needed in the short term to set Ireland up for success, preventing 10 year planning cycles for offshore wind would be a good start but lots of areas need to be streamlined.
