      Summary in English:

Danish Primeminster Mette Frederiksen: The U.S. Is Putting “Unacceptable Pressure” on Greenland and Denmark

The pressure the United States is putting on Greenland and Denmark is “unacceptable.”

And that pressure “we will resist,” says Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen (Social Democrats) to TV 2 and DR.

She rejects the notion that it is a “private visit,” as the Americans have claimed.

“You can’t make a private visit with official representatives from another country—especially when the acting Greenlandic government has made it very clear that they do not want a visit right now because they don’t have a government,” she says.

The Prime Minister emphasizes that Donald Trump must be taken seriously.

“President Trump is serious, and he is determined. He wants Greenland. Therefore, it can’t be viewed as unrelated to anything else,” she says.

In the interview, Mette Frederiksen underlines, according to DR and TV 2, that there is a desire for cooperation from both the Danish and Greenlandic sides.

A polite ‘fuck off’ would be better, in my opinion.

It is surprising that everyone allowed themselves to break the law once, and now they are surprised that everyone will do the same.
      The timeline sucks

The US and the MAGAts only understand force. They will just keep pressuring until a show of force is made.

    5. It is time for Denmark to invoke Article 4 of NATO.

*“The Parties will consult together whenever, in the opinion of any of them, the territorial integrity, political independence or security of any of the Parties is threatened.”*

An extraordinary NATO summit under Article 4 would allow clarification of the United States’ NATO membership commitments and, if necessary, political sanctions to be decided or NATO forces to be deployed to Greenland.

The Americans already made it clear that they don’t care about this.

The EU should make more decisive steps, such as increasing the military presence on the island, while Greenland should just deny Vance entry. Either that or give her a stay of her life with 24/7 protests all around her

Mette’s tough, I like her. She was only 41 years old when she was elected Prime Minister and she’s handled some challenging situations really well.

Trump really is doing everything in his power to turn America into post-Soviet Russia.

      1. Sending people to gulags without burden of proof or due process.
      2. Constantly trying to intimidate nearby countries with dramatic threats.
      3. Obsessed with the involiability of its own borders, while simultaneously belittling “lesser” nations when they express concerns about their national sovereignty or territorial integrity.
      4. Tax policy overwhelmingly favors wealthy oligarchs, to the detriment of everyone else.
      5. Fixation on the idea of a glorious past empire that was lost due to the mistakes of “weak” leaders who preceded the current “strong” leader.
      6. Economy overdependent on fossil fuels, therefore hostile to the development of all alternative energies.

All of his policies are aimed at creating post-soviet Russia, America edition.

Why aren’t they just denied entry at port of entry? The way they do to our fellow EU citizens in US airports.

needs to go further: “The US has decided that kabuki theatre style WWE wrestling politics is how they entertain their far right base without actually violating their allies.”

Why did they even allow them to land in Greenland. Oh yeah, because everyone is afraid to say no the US. So Trump will now think we accept want he wants.

Eject the American soldiers from E.U. soil. Immediately.

They’re going to have to put that in first grade language and use crayons if they’re trying to communicate with our current government.

I suspect that they are currently writing a strongly worded letter to Trump.

This is just crazy of the trump administration. They should really be ashamed

You can easily prohibit the ‘merican administration or private person to enter Greenland! As all European countries should ban the visits from any imperialist from that country!
