Hotline è anche morta 🤷♀️

Eir today, gone tomorrow.
Yeah mobile data on my phone and my mams phone (gomo) suddenly went down. Wondering if it’s just a local issue or everyone 🤔
I unfortunately had to travel to Drogheda today and nowhere has the ability to take card payment and the lotto machines don’t work. Tbh I thought it was just the way things were here.
The same thing happened yesterday for other internet & phone providers in Kerry – fault at a data centre in Dublin according to my provider
My mobile broadband nisnfone and mobile data too.
Home internet is down D: Three Mobile still up, thankfully.
I’m on gomo but that might explain why I just lost all connectivity, couldn’t log in or get a new password sent from their website, and couldn’t make a call when I tried to ring my work phone.
Lol… Pinged them on X (hate that exactly shite like this stops me from actually deleting my account) as hotline not working…

Drogheda? Whole town is out. Lucky I’d cash on me for the shop.
I don’t think it’s just eir. Lots of networks and services. Check Asana, Vodafone downndetector as an example. Same spikes same time. I’ve got a rack in one of the big data centre clusters in south west Dublin and that has had no issues, so I know what it’s not at least. Kinda wacky to see the broad spectrum of service issues come rolling in around 2.19 though.
Mine is back now at 3.05pm. Was gone for a good while though.
Lost connection here in north Louth from about 1:50 to 2:50. Had very shaky internet on Sunday from 9:30 to 10:30, and again from 1:30 to about 3:30. I’m not with Eir though.
Ahh here is the reason for my internet issues..
Vodafone was down as well, only back about 20mins was down for 2hrs.
Eir broadband has been down for the last week..
I was going to call them today about it but I suppose I’ll never get through at this stage…

According to downdetector in the Speedtest app, Vodafone, Sky and Three are also showing almost the exact same trend of reports.
Same goes for Gomo , it’s back up now though.
Something was definitely down on Eir earlier – had no 5G and 3G wouldn’t register kept showing an authentication error – now it’s fine again – something clearly fell over fairly dramatically
To be fair to them, they’re usually rock solid technically – it was always just their customer care that was appalling lol
