Since 19 of March, over 95% of all Turkish cities protested the government. Many cities including smaller ones still protest daily. Three big cities (Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir) had mass gatherings every single day with countless scenes of increasing police violence. Unfortunately in other cities such as Eskişehir, Antalya, Kocaeli, and Bursa incredible scenes of police brutality were recorded as well, with the note that there have been police interventions in many other cities.

In Europe and other countries, protests were organized in cities like Rome, Paris, London, Berlin, Amsterdam, Milan, Vienna, Dublin, New York, Ottawa, Sydney, Madrid, Barcelona, Lisbon, and many others with more to come.

Protests won’t do anyting. They don’t do anything in Serbia either. Since these leaders have no dignity nor moral esteems, they won’t stand down, or step down on their own. On the contrary, they are going to do anything and everything if they think it’s necessary, to remain in power.

So uless people take action, and I meand drastic action, nothing will change.

Incomplete, there are several places missing. Out the top of my head: Diyarbakir, Batman and pretty sure Van also had protests going on.

I’m glad you’re waking up. But isn’t Imamoglu just another Erdogan? a wolf in sheep’s clothes?
