Excellent news! The EU should expand and become a true global power on the level of the United States, Russia, and China. Accepting Turkey is an option. The EU needs strong leadership to achieve this, and I am especially hopeful about Ursula Leyen. She seems to have a positive relationship with Erdogan. A stronger EU is what we all need.

We should move for further integration for willing member-states, we need a unified front in regards to foreign policy and a people elected president to the EU as symbol of unity.

I love the idea of a federalized EU. But at this point in time it will be very unstable I think. Especially with social media polarizing the population and nationalist parties in many countries gaining strength/in power.
Nations are usually forged by pressure comming from the outside. And right now it looks like pressure on the EU will only keep rising. But I am afraid it’s the next big war that will truly forge the European Nation.

I simply cannot imagine that these 39% can propose logical alternatives to the EU that could be used to respond meaningfully to current and future challenges.
