Press freedom in Turkey was pretty much non-existent for years. The fact the protests aren’t being reported on TV shouldn’t surprise anyone.
It’s yet another thing the Turkish people should fight for.
The state TV channel only publishes TV series about the ottoman empire, and there are many TV channels that obey erdogan . Can you imagine that? If you want to buy a newspaper, there are only good things written about erdogan . If you want to watch TV, there is only positive news about erdogan… Many opposite journalists are in jail who keep writing the truth…
