Let’s just hope they add another reporter to the chat, so we know what’s really going on.
A noble sentiment…somewhat undercut by the fact that the US president can be bought off by a crappy painting that Putin gave him that I’M SURE doesn’t have a listening device inside.
I again apologize for the political leadership of my country.
America used to be strong. Now they bully smaller countries and get offended when they don’t get their way. Trump offers himself to dictators in hopes they will see him as an equal. They do not.

This is diplomatic due diligence, a concept foreign to Trump, but not entirely wasted. There’s no need to burn any bridges, when they are already structurally untrustworthy. Trump’s betrayal is slowed down, because he has to boil the American people slowly enough, so they don’t jump out the pot and start their own Lafayette-maidan.
The man whose country is being bombed into oblivion is telling us to be strong. Damn things are bad.
