Il più vicino territorio dell’UE in Groenlandia è l’Irlanda (1500 km). Il territorio statunitense più vicino è il Maine (2500 km). L’Islanda è a 290 km di distanza. Il Canada è a 25 km di distanza.

Since Krasnov claims Canada should be a state, the creamy puff man would argue it’s 25km from the US.

For the love of metric, its km, not kms. kms means Kilometer-Second

Soooo Greenland is already basically Canada. Is the solution to combine Canada and Greenland into the 51st state?

Greenland is ours, boys. Even the name suggests it’s Irish.

    5. Kinda good map.

If Europe manages to keep Greenland – it will shows that Europe is a strong player on a world map.

If not – then Europe sucks.

If you wanted to annex Canada, how could you make sure allies don’t send weapons? Right! By controlling the supply ways. And greenland is perfect for that. In fact the same body of land was used during WW2 to control supply ways of the Nazis.

All of you bow to your Irish overlords. You shall craft pubs in our honour in every city and refuse to wear sunscreen so that you may feel the pain of our pasty skin.

Saint Pierre and Miquelon is closer than Ireland and part of the EU via the Eurozone.

If the Greenlanders should ever decide to team up with someone other than Denmark, it will be Canada.

Get in the van, Greenland; we’re going on the lash!

And that may change even more if Iceland joins the EU (they’re talking referendum on joining).

Greenland is a perfect military base for Trump to launch an assault on democracy from. Russia from the East a pincer movement. The world has gone to hell.

It’s also interesting that Trump, etc make it sound like the US is much closer to Greenland, than say, Denmark, but in fact, the distance is almost the same.

Not that this is necessarily an argument for anything, but at least “the US being close to Greenland” is not really an argument at all.

If it would change ownership it should go to Canada. Geographically it doesn’t make much sense for US nor Denmark.

Technically Canada and Greenland share a boarder, Hans Island so I don’t know about the 25km part.

France might be closer (Departement St Pierre and Miquelon)
