      Everyone has seen the video, she steamrolled this through and the record is telling lies. The CC and the Clerk of the Dail are supposed to be impartial

      End of the title should be *not governments own amendments if a mod wouldn’t mind editing it.

      It seems FFG and the Lowry lackeys actually voted to approve the oppositions speaking rights amendments, not the governments

      Could you write it. What a holy show. She will have to go now. Or will she?

      So did the opposition vote against their own motion and government for the oppositions motion ? Must be the first time of record that’s happened.

      Roll on the temper tantrum from Micheál Martin. The measured calm leader mask slipping one more time. He’s sold the entire future of the FF party to get into goverment again, and by god he’ll crush anyone that gets in his way.

      So all the TDs there thought they were voting on one proposal. No one was in any doubt when the vote was being voted upon ( everyone voted on established lines ). The Dail record reflects that this was the case, as agreed upon by the clerk of the Dail.

      But now they are using an recording which is fairly unintelligible from all the shouting and roaring going on, to say that the opposite happened. Rightttttt.

      This is more than embarrassing, if the dail staff are fudging things, provable things, to protect one side, we’ve serious issues, this is troubling

      In their logistical management of this, and their general lowry strategy, they’ve made right twats of themselves. it’s actually pretty distasteful. And I say that as someone who willingly gives ff/fg candidates a 3rd and lower preference. id like to hear what my local reps have to say on the matter.

      The offical Dali record of the day does not correspond to this accusation.

      I think this is an attempt to embarrass the CC and make her resign but given she has no intention of going and the government has faith in her..

      Mental… I wasn’t that happy with FF/FG getting back in but respected that is what people picked etc and they won the votes. Seeing them give a massive platform to Lowry and all this underhanded stuff is really making me uneasy though. Generally thought Irish politics were above this (for the most part) but it just seems so dodgy right now.

      I don’t get how all this hassle is just to help out Lowry too, it’s absolutely mental. Government was too greedy with who they wanted to share power with and I really hope it comes back to bite them.
