Gesù Cristo Questo deve essere uno dei peggiori elenchi di noleggio che abbia mai visto. Più a lungo sembri peggio. Onestamente prenderei la prigione per questo.
Not the worst I’ve seen, no. I’ve actually lived in worse places than that. Grim and all that it is.

Not bad considering the price.

Just a studio apartment I see nothing wrong with it except the price is €600 too much

In 2016 I was living alone in Monkstown in a 2 bed for the same price. Things are crazy.

How is that 1 bedroom? The bed is in the kitchen 😬

I thought studios were banned? No fan over the cooker either, the flooring in the bathroom is not flat. Still not the worse I’ve seen though.

Not the worst to be honest

There’s clearly room to turn your head from side to side with ease, so it’s actually severely underpriced /s

Is that the door to the shitter being blocked by the bed?
smashedspuds on
Definitely not this one, it’s about double the size of other studios I’ve viewed, sadly

What do you mean? This is a lovely home with great character and a gorgeous Victorian era bathroom

Wildly overpriced rentals, like this, should be reported for every code violation. There are a lot of violations here.
Not the worst, unfortunately. I’ve seen the same price for half the size.

I’m sure I saw a shared room once with a bathroom like that, but it didn’t have a door.

Shouldn’t be allowed to call that a bathroom

Wasn’t just the walls that got plastered.

Worst part is that someone *will* end up renting this out of sheer necessity. I’ve seen far worse places come and go on daft and such. Madness.

The mattress is black with filth. How could a landlord think of inflicting that on their tenant?🤮

This is luxury compared to OG bedsits from 20+ years ago.
Mind you, they were cheap at the time.

Of all the things that bother me about this (and there’s a lot), for some reason I really hate that weird fucking rectangular title mat thing.

Is the cooker just sitting there on the carpet with no ventilation? holy hell

Is there not some type of regulation that says you can’t have a bathroom directly connected to a kitchen?
Such_Technician_501 on
OK the price is outrageous but I can’t be the only one who lived in a bedsit sharing a bathroom with two other bedsits? One room with bed, chair, table and “kitchen”. It was grand for a few years.

I do love that they said ‘This is grim, should we make it not shite?’ And someone clearly said ‘An accent wall will fix everything.’
Also the fact people might have to pay that much a month for that, but also be denied a mortgage is fuckin tragic.
Kelly Bradshaw Dalton should not be delighted to bring this to us.
No fridge?

Why is this even allowed to be marketed as a 1 bed. It’s a studio…a very small studio. And that mattress looks grim as does the rest of the place! 1300/month is just pure greed and lack of any kind of regulations from the government. Thankfully I don’t live in Ireland anymore.

Yikes that’s very grim. Honestly, at those prices I would consider just giving up on the market here and looking for work elsewhere in the EU.
It’s not worth spending years living in that kind of “housing.”
Quality of life is very important and it’s not just about income.
We seem to be back in some modern version of the tenements and nothing really has changed — different generation of the same greasy till politicians supported by the same visionless landlord class.
It’s depressing tbh — so much potential here for something much better but we’re mired in this. Never seems to change.

How is legal? Don’t councils undertake inspections of private rental accommodations to ensure they are up to standard. I know they do in Waterford.

“Kelly Bradshaw Dalton are DELIGHTED to bring this one Studio apartment to the market”.
Are?
Are you REALLY?
Do you really want to have your name as a realtor associated with that? Are you proud of facilitating the letting process of this apartment?
You must be as desperate as the poor soul that ultimately rents this place.
Dis-gus-tang.

This is by no means nice or even good, but I have seen worse. My sister lived in a place about 10 years ago which was in my estimation one of the most crudely put together ‘dwellings’ imaginable. The interior of the ‘building’ looked like a dungeon and it was definitely a fire hazard. The thing that made me actually laugh out loud was that the bathroom door had a small piece cut out of it because when it opened it would have collided with the edge of the toilet bowl with the door completely intact. So when the door was closed it was still possible to see into the bathroom due to the notch cut out of the door.

I’ll do you one better; how about [that place, but with 40% less headroom](https://www.daft.ie/for-rent/studio-apartment-navan-road-mulhuddart-dublin-15/6064958)? That picture of the toilet is going to give me nightmares, and I’m not even claustrophobic.
