      This is insane. Is the EU going to do anything to stop this? What keeps the US from pulling the same stunt Russia pulled with Sevastopol and Crimnea against Ukraine?

      “Manifest Destiny” was and is morally equivalent to Nazi Germany’s “Lebensraum”.

      The US has now revived that vile idea and they should be boycotted and vilified.

      A few months ago I was an Atlanticist. Now they repulse me in the same way South Africa did in the 80’s.

      Perhaps we should start cultural and sports boycotts.

      He may actually be this stupid.

      I mean at this stage it’s fucking right in the EU’s face. It’s becoming negligence to the safety of EU citizens that the EU is not taking correct measures to ensure their safety. Put it under the fucking French Nuclear Umbrella and be done with it already.

      Also, the next government of Greenland may invite all EU heads of state to a warm welcome, to discuss new military bases in the region.

      I look at this from the outside and it seems that both Denmark and the EU consider this a problem of Greenland, and not of Denmark or Europe as a whole. I don’t understand why there is no reaction at all. This will affect ALL of Europe.

      I’ll go to my grave not understanding why the Danish government said no thanks when Macron offered to send troops to Greenland recently. “Afraid to escalate”, I think their excuse was. On what planet is having allied troops in your OWN territory an escalation?

      France is pretty much the only ones with the cojones to DO SOMETHING at this point, and I have enormous respect for how they’ve handled this shit show.
