Turkey is a wonderful country with wonderful people… It’s just a shame about those in power. It’s truly sad to see how democracies can let countries reach such situations!

Have not heard much from Turkey in the last days hope the protests continue. If they do it will most likely turn into the ukraine maiden revolution so stay safe

UPDATE 18:49 28/3: Joakim is formally suspected of a crime (That has not been presented to him as of now) and is now in a turkish prison according to his editor in chief (Andreas Gustavsson). UD (Sweden’s ministry of foreign affairs) has contacted Sweden’s ambassador in Turkey to understand the situation better. Many lawyers has also traveled to the prison that Joakim is held at to try to find out what he is accused of according to Andreas.
UPDATE 2: According to turkish media Joakim is accused of being apart of a military orginisation and for offending Erdogan (Sounds very democratic if you ask me). Andreas says that these alligations are false and that Joakim is only an journalist, nothing else
