We don’t even need to impose tariffs or any other measures on the US. It is enough to stay together and simply stop buying US products.

Proud of my πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦ and the example we have set for the world . Much Respect to πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦ for the inspiration as I believe they have been essential in waking the world up to what real national pride (not isolation) is and how important democracy and freinds are .

“Donald Trump, you’ve treated your allies with contempt. You’ve bullied, you’ve lied, and you’ve threatened. But Canada doesn’t get pushed around. We stood up to you, and we’re going to keep standing up to you. We’re not afraid. You might scare your own peopleβ€”you don’t scare us. We’re going to defend our democracy, our economy, and our sovereignty, no matter what you throw at us.” – Charlie Angus, former Canadian MP

we should have said this much earlier, but still better than never. I get that everyone in power does not want to be responsible for Trump imposing tariffs, but he of course would do it anyway, so why not stand with our friends and allies in Canada since the beginning. πŸ‡©πŸ‡ͺπŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦

Thank you Germany! The solidarity and support you are offering Canada will make us both trusted and reliable trade partners, even more so. After our pm’s latest conversation with trump, Carney said trump’s tone was respectful, but we are not there yet. Canada is too busy making strong alliances in Europe.
