Indeed, both Russia and US would prefer a broken up European continent that can be divided, played against each other, and exploited/beaten into submission. No matter the cost, us Europeans need to band together and resist for however long we need to to get the message across.
Personally some stronger rethoric would be in order, especially vis-a-vis invasions of Denmark/Greenland. I say we invite Xi for some semiconductor/ASML collaboration talks just to make it clear what the cost to the US would be if the EU choose to align themselves differently.
Unfortunately, it is not failing…..im from Italy, where Giorgia Meloni stated that “she refuses to choose between Trump and EU”, considering the situation it seems like a very clever way to side with Trump
Actually it’s Putin’s goal to divide EU. The Orangeturd is just one of the agents (Krasnov), but probably the most important one.
The EU talk a good talk, being united etc etc. That is until, just at the moment of agreement, someone will throw a spanner in works and try to tag farming subsidies or fishing rights onto any proposal. It’s like trying to herd a bunch of alley cats.
For the sake of Europe I do hope that the continent can remain united, the next few decades are going to be turbulent.
Actually, if we cannot get our shit together, we will fail ourselves. The whole world quite rightly sees us as vassals of the US. Now that the US is turning away from us, we should not desperately try to cling to their protection, even as they are kicking us in the head. It is time to man the fuck up and take some fucking responsibility.
Does that mean they are going to ban Twitter and regulate Facebook and Instagram to be transparent? Because that’s how the billionaires divided the US.
