What is name of the typeface used on the current blue signs?
Try DoneDeal, a few stolen ones always show up there.
If they were serious about retaining historic street signage like in other cities, they wouldn’t allow city council, building owners and developers to remove them and the council should replace damaged or missing ones with replicas.
I don’t know what it is about Irish city street corners, you look up to find a street sign and quite often there’s fuck all there.
The old Celtic font is beautiful
I wish our Councils had some pride in our local cities, towns and villages and installed these heritage street signs everywhere. Same with the old heritage lamp posts.
