La mia ragazza mi ha fatto scoprire questo balsamo aromatico vietnamita che puoi vedere nelle foto. Essendo interessato a tutte le cose naturali / tradizionali, voglio ordinarmi un po ‘, ma sono sempre sospettoso riguardo ai loro vicini cinesi contraffatti. Suo padre era solito ottenere questo marchio specifico (per mancanza di un termine migliore) mentre lavorava in Vietnam, quindi dovrebbe essere affidabile. Qualcuno sa dove acquistare / ordinare da questo specifico in Svizzera?

Your worry about Chinese counterfeits is funny, because this is traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) – I think it originates in Singapore. The globally most well known ones are simply Red Tiger Balm and White Tiger Balm – the former is very close to the Vietnamese one you got there, the latter is a bit milder. You should be able to find these in most pharmacies.
Dul-X (Western medicine) is actually fairly close as well, but might contain too many “non-natural” additions for your taste. … that is, if you use it as a heat rub (to relax those tense muscles or ease that joint pain). But in China it’s also used against cold symptoms, and indeed it’s similar to Vicks VapoRub (Western medicine).
If you’re after the smell, Red Tiger Balm is probably closest followed by Vicks VapoRub.
But yea, you should also be able to find and import the Vietnamese version (Golden Star Balm) from German online retailers.
Is it really different from Tiger Balm ? Because this you can find in a lot of pharmacy 🙂
