      “What? I can’t tariff my *boss*… don’t be silly.”

It’s because trade between the US and Russia is practically nonexistent and was insignificant even before Russia invaded Ukraine.

Of course Trump with his kayfabe lover’s spat with Putin still insisted he’d “tariff Russia hard” so none of this is at all consistent.

In a few months, Trump will emerge dressed in a toga and a wreath of laurels, setting Washington on fire and watching the fire from the White House while eating the last eggs left in the United States.

Do you have to charge VAT on kompromat? Because that’s like a tariff right?

But trump is the only POTUS that had hard on for Puti, I mean to say he was so hard on with Putin, I mean he was so hard on Russia no one had so many hard on as Trump in term of hard on…

Russia entered the Signal group chat “Tariffs for all except my BFF”.

United States of Russia, that‘s why.

Did any single person here actually read the article?

It’s because trade with Russia is currently zero due to sanctions. The new admin has not backed off on sanctions at all.

The article goes further to say that even if some magical peace deal was made allowing trade in the future, tariffs on Russia would be insanely high (500% in theory)

There are also higher tariffs for any countries known to be currently buying Russian oil (up to 50%)

The whole tariff thing is dumb but yeah, read an article… Orange man isn’t helping them in this specific regard

Edit: turns out the statement is false and there is Russian imports totalling $3B. Entire article is useless and should be removed. White house statement or not.

Okay, now we’ve heard even more drama and lip service.

But now let’s pause and add up everything Trump has done against Russia during his time in office.

Hmmm, I can’t think of anything right now. Does anyone have an idea?

      Yes, that settles the matter.

Pretty sure we all know the answer to that one already

It’s because Putin is the money behind all of Trump’s businesses. Duh.

Perhaps because we, the United States, are now a part of Russia. 🤔

Not that it matters, but does the US import anything from Russia

Putin said NO and Trump bent over and said ‘Yes Daddy!’

      USA should be ashamed.

I sware he forgets he was ever the POTUS which is why he talks about 2028

Russia “not on this list because sanctions from the Ukraine war have already rendered trade between the two countries as zero.”

War-torn Ukraine will face a 10 percent retaliatory tariff.

      Logical – right? Sigh…..

Agent Krasnov won‘t hurt his boss.

He couldn‘t make it more obvious and many people still won‘t believe it that he is bought by Russia.
