If it goes through, we only need Canada to decide to diversify their fleet (or deslect the F-35 entirely) and Gripen will have operators on every continent bar Australia.
Edit… strike that, forgot Brazil, we already have South America.
Wasn’t this the deal that was vetoed by the US (as they apparently can due to their parts being used) ?
that is, if USA allows it. USA has the final saying. Sweden can’t export Gripen at will. The engine is from USA.
