Ciao, mi piacerebbe un po ‘di aiuto in questo, ho già inviato loro il mio Meldebestätigung für Die Abmeldung più volte e mi sono trasferito dalla Germania e si stanno rifiutando di annullare il mio contratto, come dovrei ottenere questo certificato finale?

I don’t know how you get it . But a question to your contract with Vodafone. Was the regular contract time already reached? Normally 12 months or 24 months. After that you can cancel the contract monthly without needing the Abmeldebescheinigung.

Did you de-register?

You should have received a de-registration certificate there and then.

Contact the Bürgeramt where you de-registered and ask them to send you a copy by email. That approach worked for my husband.

Companies don’t cancel a contract out of the goodness of their heart when you send them an Abmeldung – they do it because the contract is no longer enforceable. You are essentially helping them avoid potential legal headaches.

If they still haven’t cancelled the contract, write a formal letter to them, attaching your Abmeldung, stating that you will no longer be paying according to §60 Telekommunikationsgesetz. What the company does afterwards is their problem.
