Can anyone tell me if this is now illegal or not? I know customs do their best and these people will try and conceal.
If you look into it it’s horrible. It came to mind as the UK are trying to ban such imports.
The glorification of this on social media, some who are in the new Trump administration have travelled to Africa to kill animals.
Sadly, when looking into it myself saw this horrible website https://www.bookyourhunt.com/en/package-offers-in-ireland you could pay to hunt our wild goats and other animals. If the OPW for example needed to look after euthanasing or killing wild animals to reduce spread of disease for instance I could understand but not as a ‘sport’ as that private company is organising for people.

I know other hunting takes place here too, often trespassing too on farmers lands. Not a fan of that either.
