Ciao a tutti, non sono sicuro di chi chiedere, quindi sto postando qui nella speranza di ricevere qualche consiglio.
Sono un FTM vietnamita e, secondo la legge vietnamita, non ci è ancora permesso di cambiare il nostro genere sui documenti ufficiali. Quindi il mio genere legale è ancora elencato come femmina.
Questo maggio, mi trasferirò in Germania per iniziare ad allenarmi come assistente dentale (ZFA). Sia il mio visto che il passaporto mostrano correttamente il mio genere come “F” (femmina). Il mio contratto di formazione non menziona il genere, dal momento che è una forma digitale standard utilizzata dallo stato in cui studierò. La spiegazione della relazione di lavoro e della registrazione per la scuola professionale mi elencano come femmina e si riferiscono a me come “donna”.
Tuttavia, c’è un problema sullo Zusatzblatt allegato al mio visto: dice “… Zur Berufsausbildung als Zahnmedizinischer Fachangestellter”, usando la forma maschile con “-er”. Sono preoccupato che questo possa causare problemi quando arrivo in Germania all’aeroporto di Francoforte.
Sono stato su HRT per anni e il mio aspetto, voce e presentazione generale generalmente passano come maschio. Dato che i miei documenti mi elencano come femmina, ma il titolo di lavoro sul visto è maschile, questo potrebbe portare a problemi quando ho attraversato il controllo delle frontiere? Ho davvero paura di essere negato l’ingresso dalle dogane dell’aeroporto di Francoforte.
Qualsiasi consiglio o esperienza condivisa significherebbe molto. Grazie mille per il tuo aiuto!

Generic masculine. I wouldn’t worry about it.
you’ll be fine, the description doesn’t matter, what might be an issue is the fact that you pass as male but have F on your documents but you can just explain it to the border guards and i’m sure you’ll be fine
If you have submitted your fingerprints while applying for your visa, there would be zero issues. I have a similar discrepancy between my legally registered gender in Germany (as a resident) and my travel documents (Residence permit and passport), so far no questions or hassles while entering or leaving through Frankfurt!

Since this doesn’t declare your gender because it’s the generic masculine it shouldn’t matter. Just make sure to tell them how they should address you.
The German language uses a Genus system, meaning that the grammatical gender is not necessarily identical with the “actual” gender of a thing or person. Until relatively recently, the only and uncontested way to be ambiguous about the “actual” gender was the generic masculine form. Meaning that “Berufsausbildung als Medizinischer Fachangestellter” contained no implication regarding the biological gender, social gender, or the gender identity of that person.
However, nowadays there’s a large part of German speakers who don’t like the usage of the generic masculine form and prefer a gender sensitive language. A gender sensitive way to word this would be “Ausbildung zum/zur Medizinischen Fachangestellte/n”, for example.
Why the long rant? Because you’ll encounter official forms with the newer, gender sensitive wordings as well as the older ones. Like this one. But it’s just the name of that Ausbildung and there’s no intention to imply a specific gender.
