I’ll support a EuroArmy, just as soon as fishing access is resolved, deal?

Lets get it started with a unified command, share Technology and boost energy security and redevelopment

Only for Macron to block it because he wants fish, right?

There is no mention here about Britain rejoining the EU.
However, it should be noted that the British Military, intelligence community, and law enforcement have for many years worked with its colleagues in European countries.
The proposed Euro-Army, is nothing to do with the EU, but everything to do with certain European (as in geography) countries talking about deeper collaboration and operating models.

I really don’t get what is so great about the EU and over time I feel less and less good about it. it’s a trading block of countries that happen to have a shared interest. it has little to no power on the countries individually and is often incapable of making decisions, let alone a fast one. European Army should thus be completely separate from the EU and EU has proven itself untrustworthy of leading a joined army.

The Five Eyes needs to become the Four Eyes before they go any further with this. USA is a rogue state likely reporting to Russia and cannot be trusted with knowing Europe’s plans.

    7. makes sense. leave the fishiz alone, leave everything aside and consolidate powers. that’s the only way to go ( I guess allover EU the sentiment is quite the same, with probably some exceptions)

Honestly I’d be glad to have them back. But let’s do that euro army first.

The UK isn’t rejoining the EU anytime soon. People need to let it go. It will probably be at least another 50 years before the issue gets touched on again, if ever.

Not their leaders. They don’t want to lose that power

Perhaps France could create new European divisions of their Foreign Legion?

Well Brits helped to gain our Independence in the past already, so for me they are always a “brother nation” from a little far away.

Even if not in EU, they are still very important ally of ours.

And if we ignore all the populist conservatives making noise, then the brits have shown they hate Putin as much as we and actively have supported and helped Ukraine so far.

We should be united and propagate the ideals of unity and brotherhood between each person!

    15. EU army cannot work with veto rights in council. in the near future we may see agreements on specialisation of soluition development and purchasing, but you cannot expect anyone giving up command and control to an institution that could be blocked by Orban and alike. if a joint army comes – then this is the birth of a new union

I’m from the US and I would join a European Army in exchange for an EU passport. I’ll even renounce my citizenship if the US invades Canada or Greenland.

The old British tradition to ally against the strongest continental power.💪

48% of Reform voters favouring a European army is the wildest one for me
