Given the housing crises in several European countries? I’m gonna go on a limb here and say “no” in response to this headline.
Yes. Europe is ready to receive the 15 people representing the brain drain that is left.
Nah, you don’t get to run away from a mess that you made. Not like we don’t have enough fires of our own to put out.
The hardest part of living in europe: paid holidays -_-
You have been warned.
Aren’t we in immigration crisis?
Edit: I’m not sure if it’s /s or not
Wait until they see the salaries.
any headline posed as a question can be answered no
Yes and no. Europe will benefit from the best and brightest but, on the other hand, they aren’t fleeing a war, they aren’t refugees like the Ukrainians.
They voted for this! Americans freely chose to become Trump’s subjects.
Idk abot other european countries but in Germany Scientists and Engineers would receive a half or even a third of the salary they get in the US.
I don’t think this will happen.
Just check how many actually migrated to Canada during Trump’s first time in office.
The smartest ones and the scientists etc. can come. All the retards who voted wrong should not be allowed to enter.
We can take the Engineers, Doctors and Researchers, but the rest can stay to rot in the US, thank you very much.
If this is true, which I don’t believe it is, it would be a positive for Europe. Americans are not the type to be satisfied living off social security.
we should lock borders, the IQ will decline too fast
Europe already has too much obesity
No… but how many talented engineers and scientists are Native American to begin with? First, we should focus on bringing back those Europeans who moved to the U.S. during the period when America was essentially draining other countries of their talent.
I’m even convinced that China’s policy of not letting their best minds leave – like in the past – has contributed more value than the subsidies themselves.
I’m honestly sick and tired of seeing Dutch, French, German, Belgian, English, Polish – you name it – people educated here in Europe with European taxpayer money end up boosting U.S. companies instead. Maybe it’s time we talk about how European taxpayers have been “ripped of” like this for years, knowing how subsidized education is in some countries…
Will Patridiots welcome them as they do with people that comes from Africa?
I really can’t see why there are so much resistance to this. It’s not like we are talking about and surge of MAGAs or illiterate people we are talking about here.
So many european dissliked the Afro-, middle eastern migration to Europe and when we get people that also wants to move away from an authoritarian regime but has far more similar values, more education and more money, a lot of people still complain.
The advantage of the US was that they attracted talants and capital. If productive people with education wants to move to Europe and help our economy to grow and fight our demografic problem I can’t see why not.
With time even global companies from the US might want to resettel here. Good news and a very good investment. We could even have our own “Blue card lottery”.
Yes, Americans will flee to Europe, famous for its low cost of living, affordable housing and great paying tech jobs lmao
Since the entire current government and political climate is based on anti-intellectualism, this is great for Europe.
They should take a test on ethics, intelligence and political affiliation before moving over here, we don’t want to end up with Trump 2.0 because their American ideologies spread like cancer
LOL not like the Americans who *want* to emigrate from the US could actually afford to uproot their entire lives… only their rich have the privilege to escape what the upper classes created in the first place
Lmao once they find out about the taxes and authoritarianism they’ll turn around.
Although the thought of a “braindrain” makes me feel better about EU. I’d rather have the states coming to it’s senses. And that’s where these people come into play.
Those who are most wiling to go through the burden of migration are probably also the ones that can have the most impact when staying in the USA.
A lot of the countries are struggling with immigration as it is
I do not see any problem in a “brain gain” for Europe if the Americans coming in bring the knowledge and the skills that are needed here. But people coming here must be fully aware of the fact that they have to adapt and to integrate.
That means: A warm welcome to all scientists, IT specialists and medical staff. Poorly qualified employees who lack the necessary skills to fill gaps in the European market: Please stay at home!
3/4 of American scientists are looking to leave.
The ones who will be left will be the ones nobody else wants.
This Is Bad.

We need more houses then. More infrastructure. It can be done but it needs effort.
May be it’s time to intensify projects like Tri-State City and such.
Well it ain’t the stupid ones trying to do it.
I don’t want Americans unless they are willing to become Europeans.
But I don’t want US Brain Rot in Europe. 🙁
This is non-topic. Most Americans can’t afford to move out or renounce their citizenship. Most of them don’t have dual citizenship or options that would make it realistic to move to Europe. Our visa requirements are very strict and their degrees are often not automatically accepted in most countries.
Most of them have a lot of illusions with life in Europe and how accepting the job market will be in non-English speaking countries such as France, Italy, Spain, and Germany.
Also … sorry but they made their bed. They shouldn’t be a priority for us.
Europe has no massive social media / ad tech companies to fulfill US engineers’ expectations (other than a couple of hubs), and doctors don’t become millionaires overnight here. However working / middleish class Americans will find their EU counterparts have healthier and more more fulfilling lives.
I renewed my UK passport. Just waiting for a reason to denounce my US citizenship.
please notice that 90% of true brains are imported in ISA
Yeah, I’m just afraid most of the gains will go to already rich CEOs and shareholders 😣
