      Its not even the egg producers refusing, its the US not wanting to pay a premium for them to sell to them over the EU.Β

      Are the prices in Europe so much less? In the US, flocks have mostly (not fully) recovered after the last Presidential administration killed over 100 million laying chickens on the chance they might become infected with disease.

      Current price is $3.26 a dozen. Was, as per below, about $0.75 a dozen less a year ago. You would think shipping eggs from Sweden so they do not break/stay good would cost more than $0.75 a dozen.

      Interestingly, he hasn’t asked either Canada or Mexico. I can’t help but feel like this request from Europe is a trap.
