Grazie.

Oh what a dilema… im sure asking reddit is better than ringing the post and clarify directly with the people that can actually do something about it.
before opening it, document well the external signs of damage.
some merchants ask for this, in case the internal contents are damaged, so they can claim insurance and refund you.
what i learn with SwissPost, if you have something you need to do IMMEDIATELY!!! not waiting. I was waiting for package and should be deliverd on Wednesday, and sometimes just come day later and i can accept that as they have a lot of work. so package was on friday not there, and i call SwissPost and ask for if they can check, and girl on phone (my mistake that i didn’t remember name) told me to wait till monday, and in monday was not package i call again and they told me that i should call on the same day as should be delivered that now is too late and they can’t do nothing, and official i receive package but official never :D, maybe was stolen maybe post guy take home maybe i don’t know, but what i know, don’t wait
They don‘t give a fuck anyways. I received a well packaged parcel once and it was delivered open and some small stuff missing. I filed a complaint then they blamed the sender and said they didn‘t pack it properly which wasn‘z true at all (at least in my opinion). The most rude thing was that they tell you that via a noreply mail so you have to use their contact form and tell them the name of the person that handled the case if you want to say more… but yeah they up the prices every year and service goes down but that‘s nothing new in todays world
You can use the app or site to check for picture that was taken at the sorting facility. Maybe damage occurred before and was visible.
Shoes are affected by damage? If not then it’s unnecessary.
