Does it make sense to develop a billion euro tank that could be destroyed with 10 100 Euro drones?

Yes, if anything this new reality we are living in will likely give the needed kick to get both MGCS and FCAS out of their slow burning phase and into full development.

Just Waiting kronesberg to make autoturrets against kamikaze drones.

perhaps dumb question, but why pour all this money into tanks when drone swarms could dominate the battlefield right now?

the eu has more than enough airpower to ensure safe skies and conduct long-range strikes. combine that with thousands of drones and i think you’re capable of doing a lot more damage with far less money spent on vehicles that will be blown up with a 300 eur drone

Where is the actual article? Why don’t you post the fully translated article in the comments? Do you expect everyone to start a discussion on the title of this article?

rather than a big tank which costs an armor, weapons to knock out tanks would be much more useful, especially if they are in quantity

Era of tanks is over. A billion euro tank can be taken out by 10000 euro worth of drones.
