Imagine your only defense is that you accidentally slit her throat.. How dense is that man?

What an awfully sad case. I feel so sorry for her little boy, to lose two parents because one killed the other seems an especially cruel hand to be delt by life.

I know people are mocking the stupidity of this but our justice system massively encourages it.

Plead Guilty to murder gets you life. Plead not guilty and lose, still life.

Plead guilty to manslaughter 4-7 years. Everyone is gonna chance their arm and say they didn’t mean to do it

I am going to be honest when I was 2 I was potty trained but slept with nappies because I accidentally weed myself.
When I was 8 I took home a friend’s pencil and she thought another kid stole it. I apologised and gave it back.
I have accidentally dropped the glass full of drink on top of me.
I broke my wrist because I fell accidentally, and in another fall I fell on top of a broken glass and had my knee sliced open.
I had sooo many accidents in life but I have never sliced someone’s throat or came close to it.
I almost poured boiling oil on top of me.
And once I stepped on my cousins hand by accident when she was a toddler…
      Still no murders..

Now this is going to be an unpopular opinion but I feel it deserves to be discussed.

“after the couple moved to Ireland in March 2023.”

Where did they arrive from? It says the murderer didn’t have a job, how long must this the case for? Was he receiving state benefits et cetera?

The simple fact is murder is a lot more common in some of the parts of the world where people flock here from. And that culture is not left at the airport.

It’s tragic someone died, if the guy wasn’t such an idiot it is quite possible he could have delayed the conviction of creator reasonable doubt.

Would people feel safe with a murderer living beside them in their communities? Could he have killed someone else?

Rightfully the scumbag is going to be in prison for a long time, all of the expense of this is being borne by the Irish taxpayer and maintaining a prisoner is not cheap.

      Do we need this?

They were separated but still under the same roof, happens so often because of the housing crisis it’s really hard for couples to physically separate from an angry jealous ex…

It does appear that he had planned this, all the more awful, as his son would have been around the days before.
