I’m American and I’m cheering on our demise. So frustrating.
Let’s hope so, we should copy China’s approach and refuse any ties to the US until they change their whole system.

Everyone, except Orban voted for these tariffs. A majority in my country wants Hungary because of Orban to throw out of the EU. I am curiose how is the mood in other countries? Would be glad to hear.

This is in response to Trump’s earlier steel and aluminum tariffs, not Trump’s more recent 20% EU tariff.
“The package was proposed in response to Trump’s 25 percent tariff on steel and aluminum. The tariffs will be collected from April 15 and will also be 25 percent.”

Trump wants every country in the world to align their regs with those of the US as he sees these as non-tariff barriers.
It’s ridiculous what they targeted, just to say ‘we hit back’. But targeting trucks, cigarettes and ice creams seems more of a joke than real tariffs. So far they didn’t target the big techs, which should be the real thing

Soo much winning. And when you’ll say “no. Stop. I can’t keep winning so much”. That’s when he’ll remove the minimum wage, and the 40-hour work week. And you’ll be happy on your $11/hr salary for 80-hr week, making plastic toys for kids in Europe.

Wild take I LOVE living in over Bureaucratic society. Decisions are well discussed, you can weigh the pro and cons and everyone has time to adapt. Please EU never change your slow but steady pace ^^
