This is a problem that has been going totally below the radar, perhaps that is not a coincidence however.

Trump has indicated that he might not honor US Government bonds as they mature, this statement was presumably aimed at China, who holds around 7 trillion dollars worth of US bonds. However if China should choose to dump those bonds on the international market, the value would plummet and throw the US into a veritable economic tornado. So Trump is playing with fire, and we already know he’s an arsonist who actually enjoys it. If Trump decides to not honor paying back loans or a bit less aggressive, prolong their running time from 20 to 100 years, it will thrown the entire world into total chaos, and it would likely mean war.

From the article it seems Norway has placed around 25% of their oil fund in US government bond, and sensibly are thinking about ways to offhand them.
