Sono uno studente tunisino che ha fatto uno stage obbligatorio ad Hannover, in Germania, da luglio a settembre 2024. Durante questi tre mesi, il mio datore di lavoro ha trattenuto ogni mese Lohnsteuer (circa 300euros) e SV-Rechtliche Abzüge (circa 270euros). Ho presentato le mie tasse aspettandomi di ottenere un po ‘o tutto quel rimborso fiscale. Tuttavia, ho appena ricevuto il mio Bescheid (2024 Assessment Tax Assessment) dal Finanzamt e mostra un rimborso di 0 € e afferma che devo altri 36 €. Sapendo che per questi mesi il mio bruttoarbeitslohn è inferiore a 9000euros.
Sono confuso perché non avevo altri redditi nel 2024, né in Germania né all’estero. Ho già inviato un’e -mail al Finanzamt chiedendo chiarimenti e spiegando che sono solo uno studente che ha fatto un breve stage. Ma apprezzerei qualsiasi consiglio da parte di persone che potrebbero essere state in una situazione simile o che sanno come funzionano queste cose in genere.
Qualcun altro ha incontrato una situazione in cui ti aspetti un rimborso ma finisce di più a causa?
Sono nuovo nel sistema fiscale tedesco, quindi qualsiasi intuizione o guida sarebbe davvero utile. Grazie in anticipo!

Uh, something is off. The Steuerbescheid shows that you’ve earned not one cent during the year — which contradicts your Lohnsteuerbescheid. Together with the Sonderausgabenabzug it brings you to a 36 EUR total loss (that is NOT you having to pay anything).
You should clarify with your Finanzamt why your salary is not taken into account.
It doesn’t say that you owe an additional 36€. It says that your taxable income was calculated as -36€ (0€ income from work minus 36€ lump sum for special tax privileged expenses), resulting in an income tax of 0€.
It then says that you paid 0€ and owe additional 0€.
This is basically an empty tax return, your job is missing from it completely, the income as well as the tax that you have already paid.
You should be able to get back your income tax but not the SV expenses
Did you get a so called “Lohnsteuerbescheinung 2024” from your employer?
