For all the good it did to ever meet these officials before now.

Sure none of them are at anything! The shenanigans in the dail the past few weeks has taken up most of their time.

Why would he want to? In his eyes the housing market is working exactly as it should be, channeling wealth from the current highly educated hard working generations to the privileged landed class. History is a circle

Yeah no need to rush the housing crisis isn’t going anywhere nor it will be solved overnight 🤷🏻‍♂️

Pretty sure there is a dud in the housing portfolio? Even Norma would be more productive. Can’t see things getting better. Classic FFG.

Given that all they’ve done is argue in the Dail, this isn’t a surprise. Useless shower doing useless shower stuff.

    7. Cutting out the waste in fairness. No point in having meetings if you’re not going to do anything.

He has also refused to engage with the defective block people. He’s yet another useless fecker.

Maybe he should get up offa that thing and try to release that pressure.

      Calm the fuck down lads.

We’ll have a new housing tsar soon that’s going to sort everything!

It’s a scam role, bluff the public and that’s all that’s required.
The big money partners dictate the rest

Stop paying any sort of attention to it if you value your mental health

Housing minister is now a bigger poison chalice than the minister for health.

FF brought this country to its knees nearly 20 years ago and yet the Irish people have the confidence in them to lead the country. Anyone that votes for FF has never had to worry about housing or losing their job.

Ah sure why bother. We can’t do anything faster.

Maybe he can have a pre-planning meeting for the planning meeting for a public consultation for the enviromental study about the impacts of planning a roundtable? It’ll only take 2 years. Sure what’s the big rush? We only have a housing crisis.

It’s the proper process. God help if we don’t follow the process. How are you going to get your pudding if you don’t follow the proper process?

Well it’s hardly as if the top officials have been proven competent either. I imagine the whole department is a complete shambles.

Everything is going exactly as they might have hoped. No need to do anything. It’s all perfectly fine.

Get up! Get on up! Get up! Get on up! Get off your arse! Get on up! This gov’s a farce! Get on up!

I’d love to be housing minister, creating masterplans for cities and towns, creating new towns not endless suburbia, encouraging rural villages to be built not one off houses, planning and citizen led this is what we’d like built please developers while they can still make their profits, building for the long term not the short, ensuring every citizen has a home to buy or rent. In Monaco another tax haven they make sure all their native citizens can afford to live in the country whatever their income, getting the ball rolling.. and if ministers can’t do these things then our democracy is broken.

    18. das_punter on

Why would he, it’s not a crisis, nor is it that big of a deal for either FF and FG.

A third generation TD in Wexford whose family has had a FF TD on and off since 1957.

Why has it been decided that a roundtable is a critical task? I’ve never been in a useful roundtable discussion.

Clearly out of his depth and doesn’t know where to start.

      Resign ffs.
