Chilling footage showed a helicopter carrying Spanish tourists plummet into the Hudson River off Manhattan on Thursday afternoon, killing all on board, a source told ABC7.
An FDNY official told the Daily Beast that five passengers were on board, including two adults and three children, as well as the pilot. ABC reported the passengers were a family visiting from Spain.
CBS New York reported that all six bodies were recovered with no survivors. The helicopter involved was a Bell 206, which took off from Manhattan’s downtown area.
All these aviation incidents happened once Musk’s DOGE fired all of those FAA employees. Condolences to the tourists and the pilot.
I work near here and can see helicopters all the time. Part of me had thought “maybe it’s some far right tech oligarch.” No, of course it’s some poor tourist family. It’s an unjust world.
