It’s just a tiny sauna in someone’s backyard right next to Forty Foot ffs.
Wouldn’t have made the news if it wasn’t in “middle class land”.

And that’s just the NIMBYs. Wait until you see how much just gets rejected by councils and quangos even _before_ anyone tries to object.
I mean, in this case he put up a commercial sauna in the garden of a private house without planning and sought retention after the fact. It isn’t a sauna solely for his own private enjoyment.
I’m a big YIMBY but this case does seem to have merit from those objecting IMO.

This is a refreshingly pragmatic and reasoned assessment, something we need more of. Not a straight yes but a “hey let’s see how this plays out”
Retired people have all the time in the world to write complaints and attend meetings with council. Out of the boredom they’re in a way of progress.
It’s not the fault of the nimbys, there are always going to be cunts.
It’s the fucked planning system we have that allows cunts of all sorts to have a say.
The NIMBY’s give the government an excuse to do nothing. We need to railroad this a little bit and do what’s better for the entirety of the country.
A vote for FF/G/Lowry group is a vote for corruption and stagnation.
