      Under the Children’s Act, a child under the age of 12 is incapable of committing an offence, although there are exceptions, including murder and serious sexual assaults, so there is no criminal investigation into the school stabbing.

      Mr Geraghty said he “remains outraged” that neither Justice Minister Jim O’Callaghan nor Education Minister Helen McEntee has contacted his family.

      I am gonna sound like an arsehole and I’m sorry. I read an article where the dad said the lad had been visited by a psychologist in Temple Street and he was encouraged to talk about the attack. Good. 

      That does not mean shove him into the paper non-stop. 

      Is moving house going to mean a third school in a few months for him and his brothers?

      The dad was on that Katie Hannon show, he said only for the intervention of a teacher, the attacker was chasing the lad to ‘finish him off’
