The ad is from a Burschenschaft, think a traditional german version of a fraternity. They are a bit weird and conservative if you’re lucky, and right-wing if you’re unlucky. Lots of drinking, weird traditions, dress up, propably academic fencing, and no-girls-allowed stuff. It’s cheap because alumni of this Burschenschaft pay a fraction of their income to support the students, and they’ll expect the same from you later.
