      Yet there are still more than enough Westerners who ~~have it on good opinion~~ insist that this latest installment in the [Russians’ centuries-old genocide of Ukrainians](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russification_of_Ukraine) is just Putin’s War™.

      How many more “second chances” do people in the civilized world want to hand out to the “poor”, “oppressed” and “misunderstood” Russians? One more? Ten more? A hundred more?

      Just as there were no “[Good Germans](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Good_German)” or “[Good Italians](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Italiani_brava_gente)” after WWII, there are no “Good Russians” with their latest attempt to exterminate the Ukrainians in real-time *once and for all*. The Russians’ “Final Solution”, as it is.

      “This is Putin’s war”, “Putin is a dictator, and the people are just trapped in Russia with no choice or voice in the matter”, “Russian people are not inherently bad and don’t support Putin and war – the polls are rigged by Kremlin”, “Why did that Ukrainian kid refuse to shake hands with a Russian athlete – the ordinary people are not to blame for Putin and oligarch’s actions”.

      GO. FUCK. YOURSELF.

      This is just a shred of what I read as someone who speaks Russian – responses like these to a bombing are extremely common. Putler needs to sell something to his bloodthirsty horde, and they cheer with ecstasy. The fact that there might be some people who feel bad doesn’t change the fact that the majority wants even **more** bloodshed.

      I grew up during the Bosnian war in Sarajevo. I remember every time something like this happened, the invaders would always we shot ourselfs. Same shit here. Hope they all rot in hell. Slava Ukraini!
