    1. We’re having a mini-rally this afternoon in Portland, Oregon where I work. The theme is to show with signs what we’re for, instead of what we hate (which there’s plenty of that that are totally legitimate). I can’t make a sign because of my schedule this morning, so instead I’m just going to be waving my American and Ukrainian flags in a custom setup with my flagpole. Slava!

      As Brit this thing with flags always feels a bit odd, other than a lot of “st georges cross” flags around major football tournaments, or a big show for royal events we don’t see many of any kind.

      Clearly its a VERY American thing to have a flag in your garden, but for those outside the USA, is having flags in and around private homes a thing elsewhere too?
