nationalizing a company owned entirely by foreign nationals seems like it should be much bigger news. especially since it seems like it was over a failure to reach a deal and the gov just said fuck it and yoinked. i can see why they would do that, but at the same time they also sold the company with no stipulations that the plant had to be kept running. once you make your bed you lay in it for better or worse.
