I ended a friendship because he was supportive of Russia. Some people may consider this extreme, but identification with genocidal dictators is a massive sign of bad character and lack of empathy. I didn’t lose anything important IMHO.
Absolutely insane that something as inconsequential as choosing the wrong side of a bus to sit on could lead to you getting killed. The world feels like it just keeps getting worse.
