      These companies are a joke!! The European Union should find a way to ensure this is only permitted if users can be compensated for the data they provide!! People have no idea about the millions in profits these companies make off their data!! It’s absolutely outrageous!!

      My suggestion, for Europe to stay ahead of the curve, is to start forcing companies that train AI to pay the people whose data they use for AI training!

      Its kind of simple. If you dont want them to use your data then don’t use their products. Remember that if you aren’t paying for the product it means that you are the product.

      Can they do that? Doesn’t GDPR require explicit consent? And what if the consent is withdrawn later? How will they remove the information from the weights of the connections in the neural network?
