Alexa, show “buyers remorse”
Yeah and in 2029 one month before election they will go down ~ what’s the point of these polls outside of election year really? Can’t change a damn thing anyways.
Now the struggle is covincing all of the FGers not to switch to FF for an absolutely identical outcome
If only under-35’s voted as well as answered polls.
Harris comes across as weak and has failed to impress.
I’d assume he’ll be knifed in the back once a credible rival appears.
Sinn Fein have been bitterly disappointing in opposition. Failed to read the public attitude on immigration & housing in a massive way.
I have noticed that the “sinn fein traitors” narrative which around at election time has more or less gone, I don’t know if that’s just because of the election cycle is over though.
I love that this will get a load of positive comments from Sfers, where as the polls a few weeks ago that said they were second ‘didn’t matter’ and ‘where did this poll get carried out? The fg convention”
Sinn Féin lead until election day
Did ya ever think different people answer polls than vote?
Wankers all of them
FF and FG are one unit. FF currently offers the stronger leadership and is therefore more popular among FFG voters who are effectively one unit as well now. FG could finally get it over with and appoint Jennifer Carroll McNeill as party leader and they’d be above FF then, that’s just how FFG are going to operate from now on.
Absolutely pointless. Do it during an election and I’ll be impressed.
Why did Sinn Feim lose so much support before the last election? Do people like the idea of an alternative party between elections and then panic about the idea of change as the election approaches?
What’s stopping a FF/FG merger at this point? Seemly when forming a government the only sticking point is ministerial positions, rather than any sort of policy clashes.
Who would have ever guessed that Harris would underperform so much? Can he recover from here? I would have to say not. First thing he needs to go is fire his advisors and get someone in who knows what they are doing. The TikTok videos were initially cringe, now they have advanced to just ridicule. This week he was extolling how FG would tackle Airbnb. Like they have only been in power for all the time that Airbnb have been operating and having a detrimental effect on the rental market. If he showed some contrition and acknowledged how badly wrong they have been then people might see him as more normal and not some out of touch politician.
But this being FG they will agonise over this for about 18 months and then realise they are tied to a donkey and look to have a new leader in time for them to take the top job. I guess they only thing that can reassure Simon is that his deputy is Helen and she truly is worse.
