The US walking away is what Russia has been wanting since day 1. Now that they announced that they will do that if there’s no ceasefire, why would Russia agree to a ceasefire?

All I remember is Trump excusing Russian war crimes by pretending they were “mistakes” and Vance talking shit to Zelenskyy because he felt like the Ukrainian president didn’t thank him enough or whatever, I’m not sure even Vance himself knows what the fuck he was talking about during that infamous “meeting” when you tried to rob Ukraine blind – are these the “efforts” you’re referring to, Marco?

Because until now, American “peace efforts” have mostly looked like attempts to extort Ukraine’s resources.
Just hope they’ll let Europe take care of helping Ukraine.

Next month Merz is becoming chancelor of Germany and he will start with giving Tauruses to Ukraine and spending heavilly on defense in general. With the help of other EU countries, EU&UK can back Ukraine themselves.
