Jeff Bezos can afford to pay better wages or have better working conditions. But a few minutes in space is just as productive.

the tax issue of capitalism is pain in the ass. there is always lower taxed countries, even %0 ones. but if we keep taxes lower, the gap between average person with these rich duchebag’s increases a lot.
i think it is the biggest vicious cycle of our current age. is the solution socialism? hell nah.
Not sure US taxpayer money even goes to good causes anymore, PEPFAR is gone, cancer research gutted, universities’ funds cut over “DEI”, even IRS can’t work effectively any more. I couldn’t care less how much he pays, as US gov is currently worse.
He can do what he wants with his money. And ‘more’ or ‘fair share’ is never enough for these people. Part of Europe’s problem is this statist, collectivist, mentality.
It’s rooted in religion, but manifests in socialist, nationalist and fascist politics.
There is a big gap between “can” and “should”.
The rich to pay more taxes ??? Yeah, right !!! This is similar with the decision to do layoffs and fire people in a corporation to cut expenses, whenever the stocks go down or is a decrease in reveneus, instead of lowering the financial bonuses and extra benefits of the upper management/leadership. Just an analogy, and a personal opinion.
