Has this been posted in r/politics and r/conservative, yet? Feels like they might really need to read that more than this sub because of recent events.

This is even new to me as a German. So I already consider Trump is mimicking a lot. So Hitler did also Tariffs. Great…

“But Hitler made no effort to reassure the markets, insisting that the tariffs were necessary and that he needed time to fix the ruined country his predecessors had left him.”
      I hear you..

Hitler was 44 in 1933. Luckily Trump is 78 in 2025. There is a natural time-limit on what Trump can do in his remaining capable years.

This all reminds me of a South Park episode, where, I think Stan said something to the effect of: “You’re worse than Hitler. He at least cared about germany or something.”

I’m not an expert on tariffs but was surprised when I started reading about them that the EU has had tariffs on  the United States and American cars of ten percent for a long time. Why do we impose tariffs on the United States and then get angry when they target our steel?  Would love to hear from someone with a good understanding.
