For anyone wondering they’re descendants of medieval Albanians from the fifteenth century who moved to Italy after the Ottoman Conquests of the League of Lezhe and after as a repayment to Skanderbeg helping the King of Naples in securing his crown.

Isn’t Luіgі Mаngіоnе descendant from this minority?

Given that they have been in Italy for centuries, why do they display the modern Albanian flag? Or is it a historical flag used by Albanian kingdoms or dynasties long ago?

Fun fact: Albania was the first country in the world tlthat declared Christianity its state religion.
