L’Europa sposta la strategia per l’Ucraina, concentrandosi sul finanziamento del settore della difesa. L’aiuto europeo si sposterà dalla fornitura di armi pronte per finanziare lo sviluppo del settore della difesa. Questo approccio dovrebbe accelerare e migliorare il processo di supporto.

In my eyes it’s also a good way to keep Ukraines economy afloat.
Probably easier to find labour there as well until the factories become automatized and less labour intense.
It needs both
Ukraine is gonna be the leading nation in the future European defence forces.
Yeah this is a total no-brainer. I’m sure one of the biggest perks of manufacturing in Ukraine is a ton of pesky regulations can be relaxed and bureaucracy bypassed during war time. We don’t need new weapon factories in 5 years after permits and rounds of community feedback and resolving lawsuits
Furthermore, this strengthens Ukraine in negotiations to join NATO, if Ukraine is a major hub of weapon manufacturing then it’s going to be way harder to leave them out in the cold than if all the weapons were being manufactured in NATO europe. It’s bolstering the argument that NATO needs Ukraine, not the other way around.
It’s not so much the defence industry giants that need it but instead create tens of thousands of small scale drone manufacturers scattered all over the EU in basement carparks.
War has changed. It’s drones and bots now.
And cuts the whims of a deranged orange rapist out of the loop.
Well, now EU needs to make sure that Ukraine will not end up under Russia.
They would get best trained army and best military complex in their hands.
